Cylindrical LED screen customization process
With the advancement of LED technology, people have not only made leaps and bounds in LED display pixel pitch, but also made great progress in materials and splicing styles, so many creative LED displays can be realized.
Since the cylinder of the cylinder LED display is not too wide, the traditional method of artificially bending the LED display is no longer available. At this time, in order to increase the transformation radius, a soft flexible LED display module must be used. Unlike conventional flat modules, flexible soft modules can achieve curvature and bending, so that they can be spliced into curved LED screens, and cylindrical displays are one of the styles.
So what is a soft LED display module? The soft LED module uses a soft material as a substrate to allow the lamp beads to be fixed on it, which can not only achieve a curved shape, but also ensure the stability of the lamp beads. At present, the pixel pitch of the soft LED module can also be very low, such as P1.5, to achieve a clearer effect.
When we design a cylinder LED display screen solution, we mainly calculate the size of the LED module and the LED diaplay dot pitch based on the circumference of the cylinder to achieve precise splicing and ensure the display effect. Therefore, when designing a solution, you need very accurate information.
You need to go to the installation site for investigation, understand the actual on-site conditions, understand the detailed dimensions of the installation location, and then communicate with the end user about the display requirements, including the type of signal source and the routing method, and then configure a detailed product list.
When you want to make a cylindrical LED screen and get around price, please first understand the shape, circumference and height of the cylinder, and then communicate with the end customer about the display content and viewing effect requirements. Therefore, we can determine the pixel pitch of the module.
Since the size of the pixel pitch will directly affect the display effect of the cylindrical LED display screen, the smaller the dot pitch, the clearer the display picture. If using too small pitch will increase the cost. Finally, since the module sizes of each pixel pitch are different, the size of the module should also be considered when using a large pixel pitch.
Since the circumference of the each cylinder LED screen is different, there are few module sizes that completely match the circumference of the cylinder. In order to make the module size consistent with the circumference of the cylinder after splicing, later cutting and other processing are required.
However, to do a successful cylindrical LED screen project, it not only requires choose right modules and pixel pitch sizes, but also involves installation in the later stage.
In general, the cylinder LED module is fixed with an embedded bracket, or a circular bracket is directly built close to the cylinder.
